Jim Blachek began his career in the insurance industry in 1988 with Equitable of NY. He was co-founder of The Benefits Group and together with his business partner grew it into a respected regional firm with 17 employees. After a personal tragedy affected his life and business in 2013 he began the journey of changing his practice.

In 2017 Jim flipped his traditional brokerage model to focus solely on consulting and building value based health plans. In 2019 he co-founded a consulting only firm Dynamic Benefit Solutions and founded Local Script a transparent pharmacy and marketing organization focused on reducing employer and employee costs while supporting the local community.

Jim is a proud father of 5 and enjoys traveling with his wife Mary and visiting his 2 grandchildren.
